This crab is a tribute to strength, resilience, and coastal roots. Just like the crab, he's built to weather the storms, move sideways when life demands it, and hold on tight to what matters most. The crab's hard shell reminds us to protect our hearts while navigating life's shifting tides, proving that true strength is often hidden beneath the surface. 

Inspired by Maryland Shores and a soulful Maryland country artist, this piece honors the grit and grace of those who call the coast, home. 

This piece is made up of six species of wood, including mahogany, walnut, cherry, maple, birch and sapele. There are 87 cut piece that have been hand sanded, shaped, cleaned and oiled to bring out the woods natural beauty.
